Jonavan Asato

Pastor Jonavan Asato serves as the Senior Pastor of Grace Bible Maui. He has a Bachelor of Education from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a Master’s Degree from Wheaton College. Before joining the church staff full-time, he taught chemistry at Maui High School.

Over the years, Pastor Jon has served in many areas of church life, including youth ministry, worship, missions, and small groups. He has also faithfully supported his father, Pastor Eddie Asato, in ministry and served with Grace Bible churches throughout the Pacific.

Jon is married to Jocelyn, and they have four children: Alexis, Caedon, Paige, and Aysen. He enjoys going to the beach, surfing, reading, spending time with family, technology, hunting, and teasing his YOUNGER sister, Sharina Husted.
