EDDIE Asato

Pastor Eddie and Susan Asato founded Grace Bible Church Maui in 1974 after leading GBC Honolulu’s college ministry and planting GBC Kauai Church. Eddie grew up on Oahu, graduated from Iolani High, attended the University of Hawaii, and received his Bachelors of Biblical Studies from Christian International College and his Masters of Divinity from King’s Seminary.

He has been serving in ministry for 40+ years, preaches around the world, and coordinate events for a small group of Maui pastors monthly and annually. He is the author of “Unsealing the Book: Revelations" and "A Legacy of Grace on Maui."

He is married to Susan Shimabukuro Asato, has 3 children and 11 grandchildren.

Pastor Eddie enjoys playing tennis, lifting weights, cooking, health/fitness, finances, reading, and traveling. He loves gadgets and is always learning the newest and greatest technology….especially MAC computers.
