Teen Challenge Maui Update

Some of you may remember that Teen Challenge had an important ministry helping people get off drugs, and finding Jesus Christ, in Oluwalu. They lost their lease many years ago, and have not been operating on Maui. But plans are in place for them to come to a new location on Maui. They have purchased a four bedroom, three bath home and a one bedroom/one bathroom cottage in Kihei.

PRAYER URGENTLY NEEDED!

The house needs a lot of cosmetic work! Teen Challenge wants to begin work on the property on March 6 and is need of many helping hands to make it operational as soon as possible.

Some of the work includes:

• Replace 4 exterior locks
• Replace all lights w/LED, fixtures and bulbs
• New vinyl flooring throughout
• New commercial carpet in stairs
• Replace 2 cabinets and new countertops
• New mini cabinet and countertop
• Repair or replace 3 sliding windows
• Repair 4-5 holes in drywall
• Painting: complete exterior of main home and 2 story cottage; complete interiors
• General clean up, windows, screens, bath/kitchens, shelving, etc.
• Power wash exterior, clean up garage
• Yard work: general clean up, mow lawn, and removal of 30 ft ficus tree
• Appliances needed: 2 refrigerators 34” & 27” width max, plus 1 small refrigerator. Hot plate or very small stove
• Furnishings: complete home furnishings for 5 bedrooms, 3 living/family rooms, 3 dining rooms, 3 kitchens n all utensils, 4 lav/bathrooms
